We're the field school for environmental organizing
Are you passionate about the environment? Are you ready to learn how to run campaigns to help solve the climate crisis or save our last wild places? We offer a year-long training program that will prepare you for a career in environmental organizing.

Get the training and experience you need to kickstart your career
Our program includes intensive classroom training with prominent guest trainers like Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org, and Sarah Hodgdon, national program director at the Sierra Club. Then, you’ll receive hands-on experience working with established groups on urgent campaigns around climate change, clean energy, reforming our food system and more. You’ll learn how to recruit and train volunteers, develop strategic campaigns, build strong coalitions, organize events, gain media coverage and more.

Learn to harness the power of organizing
We definitely need lawyers, scientists and other experts to solve our environmental problems. The good news is that we have a lot of them on our side. So what do we need even more of? Organizers—people who understand the power of public support and know how to mobilize it.
Join the ranks of nearly 350 Green Corps graduates who are tackling today’s environmental challenges
Nearly 350 of our graduates are using the skills and the approach they learned during their Green Corps year in their careers every day as they rise up to meet the most important challenges of our time—with groups like Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Rainforest Action Network, Food & Water Watch and many more.

"Without Green Corps, I wouldn't have this behind-the-scenes insight into how you win a campaign—from media to fundraising to political strategy and everything in between. Green Corps gave me the foundation that I needed to go on to lead an organization like Greenpeace."
